Description
Our Living Urn tree planting system with biodegradable cremation urn is the perfect solution for creating a living memorial to your loved one. Our eco-friendly biodegradable system is designed to grow a lasting living memory tree, plant, or flowers with your loved ones cremains. Growing a tree with our system is not only an enriching option for you and your family but it's also a way to give back. Planting a tree with an urn that holds your loved one cremains will create a place to keep them present in your life while providing a place for birds and other wildlife to gather. Create a circle of life by transforming cremains into a living tree memorial.
The Living Urn is shipped to you in a beautiful and graceful handmade bamboo shell. The bamboo shell will keep your cremated remains safe while you wait for the young tree to arrive from our nursery. After you plant your tree you can then use the natural bamboo shell as a keepsake holder to store mementos. The outer bamboo shell packaging is a sustainable resource.
You'll receive our proprietary system components consisting of a biodegradable cremation urn, wood chips, premium soil mix, and ash neutralizing agent. Follow the included simple instructions and grow a meaningful lasting living memorial.
The natural and biodegradable urn is made from recycled materials (plant-derived), using only heat and pressure, free from glues or other binding agents.
Receive a young tree from our award winning nursery or, if you prefer, simply pick one up at your local nursery to plant in combination with The Living Urn.

(Eastern Redbud cannot be shipped to AK and HI due to state restrictions)
Known as the harbinger of Spring, the Eastern Redbud’s delicate blossoms and buds are one of the seasons most breathtaking displays. Spectacular rosy pink blossoms appear in dramatic fashion in April. The eastern redbud typically grows to 6–9 m (20–30 ft) tall with an 8–10 m (26–33 ft) spread. It generally has a short, often twisted trunk and spreading branches.

(Hydrangeas cannot be shipped to AK and HI due to state restrictions)
This stunning flowering shrub is a stunning sight to see! Its large, rounded bright flowers that bloom all over the shrub (not just on top) beautify any landscape. Its a fast growing shrub that only takes 2 to 3 years to typically grow to its full size of 6 feet. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.

(Kousa Dogwoods cannot be shipped to AK and HI due to state restrictions)
An excellent landscape beauty and a hardy tree that can grow and thrive in a variety of conditions. The Kousa Dogwood is a favorite in many yards and gardens as it's a smaller tree that only grows to 15-25' in height at maturity. The stunning white blooms that appear in the Spring add to the beauty of this special tree and are what makes it highly recognizable.

(Sugar Maples cannot be shipped to AK, AZ and HI due to state restrictions)
The Sugar Maple is a generous provider and one of America’s best-loved and most popular trees. It's no wonder that more states have claimed it as their state tree than any other single species - those states being New York, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Vermont! It is famous for its amazing Fall color - as the seasons change, the leaves turn vibrant shades of yellow, burnt orange and red. A 10-year-old tree is typically about 5 m (16 ft) tall. When healthy, the sugar maple can live for over 400 years.

(White Oaks cannot be shipped to AK, AZ, CA, FL HI, LA and OR due to state restrictions)
If the Oak is the king of trees, then the White Oak is the king of kings! It’s impressive and stately and a majestic tree all year long. In the Spring, the new leaves and flowers combine for a pastel tint on the limbs. In the Summer, it is a superior shade tree, with wide vibrant dark green to blue-green leaves. White Oaks typically reaches heights of 80 to 100 feet (24–30 m) at maturity, and its canopy can become quite massive as its lower branches are apt to extend far out laterally, parallel to the ground.

(Red Oaks cannot be shipped to AK, AZ, CA, HI, FL, LA and OR due to state restrictions)
The beautiful Northern Red Oak is considered a national treasure as one of the handsomest, cleanest and stateliest trees in North America. This fast growing tree offers a dense crown and brilliant red fall colors, is known for its adaptability in urban settings, and provides great value to wildlife. Northern red oak is fast growing and a 10-year-old tree can be 5–6 m (16–20 ft) tall.

(Spruce cannot be shipped to AK and HI due to state restrictions)
One of the most popular ornamental conifers, the spruce is a truly magnificent sight. Perhaps Donald Culrose Peattie described it best in A Natural History of Western Trees. "This insistently pretty tree displays its charms of tier on tier of branches graduated in perfect symmetry from the longest boughs that sweep the ground to the slender but strong top. When planted in parks and gardens it seldom exceeds 15 m (49 ft) tall by 5 m (16 ft) wide.

(Pine cannot be shipped to AK and HI due to state restrictions)
Rugged. Lean. Enduring. If a tree could personify the West, it would surely have to be the pine. Writer Arthur Plotnik even called it “a Clint Eastwood of a tree”. Its fast growth and interesting features also make for a popular specimen or ornamental tree. Pine trees are evergreen growing 3–80 m (10–260 ft) tall, with the majority of species reaching 15–45 m (50–150 ft) tall.

(Cypress cannot be shipped to AK and HI due to state restrictions)
Appreciated and popular for its rapid growth and slender shape, the Cypress tree beautifies landscapes over a large range of the United States. This beautiful tree provides great color all 12 months of the year with its fine, soft-green, pointed needles. It typically grows to heights of 35–120 feet (10–40 m) and has a trunk diameter of 3–6 feet (0.9–1.8 m).
