    Product Overview

    Our Pet Rest Casket offers an affordable, yet traditional way to lay your beloved friend or family member to rest. Combining the look of a natural wood grain finish with the strength and durability of rigid polyurethane. A vault is not necessary with the Pet Rest Casket as it is constructed of sturdy polyurethane that provides a solid, naturally air tight and water resistant enclosure, able to withstand pressure exceeding 360 pounds per square inch. This pet casket is available in a variety of sizes and in three finishes.

    Two Pet Rest Casket styles are available:

    Standard Interior: Granite colored neutral flex lined interior.
    Deluxe Interior: A more formal interior with soft liner and pillow. Hand crafted egg shell coverlet consists of a soft, cushioned center encircled by a fine crepe fabric. The cushion lays snugly in the casket and the attached liner is generously gathered to create a coverlet. Both the coverlet and accompanying pillow are trimmed in a delicate white lace.

    What Size Pet Rest Casket do I need?

  • Extra Small Pet Rest Casket: Small pets, small cats, birds, rabbits, gerbils and hampsters.
  • Small Pet Rest Casket: larger cats and pets up to 25 lbs
  • Medium Pet Rest Casket: Pets up to 40 lbs
  • Large Pet Rest Casket: Pets up to 50 lbs
  • Extra Large Pet Rest Casket: Larger dogs and pets 80-100 lbs

  • Length: measure from the pets nose to base of the tail
  • Width: measure from the top of the pets back to the top of the knee
  • Height: measure with pet laying down: at the shoulder, from the top of the pet to the bottom side

    What size urn do I need?

    One pound of body weight will yield just less than 1 cubic inch of ash. Assume for shopping purposes that: 1 pound body weight = 1 cubic inch ash.

    Cremation urn item descriptions list the size of the urn in Cubic Inches. If you know the weight of the deceased - then you know the size of the urn you need. Approx Weight = Approx Size.

    Easy example: A cremated 100 pound person will yield almost 100 cubic inches of ashes. So, if 1 pound = 1 cubic inch then this person would need an urn that is approximately 90-100 cubic inches or larger.
