Not really a fan of the gold plate. Ordered one of each and in love with the silver one.

I love my memorial windchime. When it arrived, the windcatcher (piece at the bottom) happened to be missing. I get it, that happens sometimes. What happened next was unexpected. I contacted Mainely Urns via email to let them know, not knowing what to expect. Some companies ask that you send back the entire order, etc. With my grief, I was not into extra hassles. To my surprise, the first person I contacted was very understanding, kind, and open with communication. She was ABLE TO SEND the replacement product immediately and without question or any hassles on my part. It is so nice to deal with and recommend a company that puts customers first and treats them with kindness and respect.

We lost my mother in law in March and my father just a few weeks ago and they both loved wind chimes. What better way to memorialize them then making them part of the music? My experience with Mainely Urns was all positive. I found what I was looking for easily on their website. The process of ordering was quick and easy, as was the confirmation and shipping. It was easy to open the urn and add ashes, but be sure to align the o-ring when putting the top back on.

The wind-chimes are simple, well made and have a beautiful sound. Many people in my family move around a lot, so we were thrilled to find an elegant and compact/transferable way to bring a physical reminder of our loved ones with us. Now, every time we hear the wind-chime sound, we think of Kate.

One thing we noticed (that does not bother us at all) is that 'Pet Memorial Chime' is printed in small letters on the bottom of the wood circle. You are only able to see this when actually putting the ashes inside the Urn.

The sound is beautiful and the construction seems to be sound. I bought this to put my Papa's ashes in and was a bit worried about the ashes seeping out of the urn but once I took it apart I realized that there was no way the ashes were going to come out.
